Could become quite a tricky procedure .... I also don't like the back of the snorkel body being open and having to be siliconed against the vehicle body for a seal. But that can be overcome by fitting a backing after moulding ... could be a nice project though. 
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
