If I remember correctly these "spring helpers" impede the articulation of the rear wheels Niel. They are great for carrying load on dirt roads, but not for off-road use.

At the mall you don't really need exceptional articulation

Like Thys said, they are not suitable for heavy 4x4 terrain... but that's not what they are intended for, these devices are there to assist the rear suspension when carrying heavy loads(hence the name 'Load Hogs'), like overlanders do, they offer major assists when travelling at speed on highways as well as on gravel roads... I have seen a set fitted to an SFA, when deflated they don't hinder articulation... I wouldn't mind a set... but I am rather thinking along the lines of a small offroad trailer, to carry the bulk of the weight, instead of ladening the vehicle to heavily...

Niel I'm not entirely sure how they would cope with your weight... may need a heavier duty one on the drivers side...

Snip, you have a PMs

Ok ok. Britney. Will it not curve the spring pact and create a bit of a lift?

Nie so goed vir off-roading. Soos die manne sê, uitstekend vir wanneer jy vrag dra.

I have a pair on my SFA, but I carry a heavy load if I go overlanding. Definitely helps with the sag of the standard springs. They are relatively easy to adjust to suit the need.
Air springs apparently better, (I'm saving for mine :) )
The Load Hog springs tend to shift a little bit, but nothing major. They can interfere with the handbrake cable, I extended the handbrake levers a little bit.

My brother bought a 2004 Legend 2700i 4x4 with lots of extras a few weeks ago.

One the extras is Firestone air suspension.

I suppose these would also effect articulation?
