Hilux 2005 V6 4.0 problem with gearbox

Having problems with gearbox changes good around town n highway just under pressure like going up hills or overtaking like f it's in that gear for a bit it won't change from 4th to 5th straight away it takes like 5 to 6 seconds or more even with foot of power has 250.000 on clock just done a full gearbox service n still does it has been put on a scan but does not come up with any codes any help would be great thanks

Having almost the same problem just did a recon on my box hopefully it gets sorted

Is yours doing it before or after U recon the gearbox mate

Before the recon after the recon not much better it’s gone back in at the moment

Mine will change up but not down unless I slow down a lot and at times on an uphill at higher revs it’s makes a time of a whistling noise
Since it’s back from the recon it won’t take gears in the morning when cold and second gear also hassling
