Hi all. New to the forum so hope I am not reapeating this question.
I have a hilux 3.0 D4D 4X4 07 model.
I have had an incessant squeak coming from the back.
It has been dignosed as the left rear axle bearings on the seal side.
I have been advised that it is neccessary to to replace the bearings, seals and drive shaft (Part no. 423110k040) as there is a issue with just doing the bearings and seals and they lie loose due to wear on the shafts and hence go again.
This problem is this then turns into a 30k job (to do left and right) as it includes the Shaft RR Axle at 14k for the two.
Anyone else experienced this?
Parts Estimate attached.

If the shaft has worn on the sealing surface it can be welded up and then turned down. I had this done on my SFA and it worked fine
Happy trails
