My 02 Hilux has a bad leak in the Air Conditioners Evaporator, repair shop says they cannot find a replacement anywhere in SA?
Will have to get a custom one made up, just waiting on the quote for this.
Does anyone know of anywhere I might be able to get a new evaporator?
I have contacted Gemini just waiting for a reply.
I see Toyota part number is 88501-35060 and production stopped in 08/2002(mine was purchased new in June 02) and changed to part number 88501-35080 until end of this model in 05.
I will double check part number today at my nearest Toyota dealer.
I see I might be able to get it from JP-Carparts.com in Japan

Repair shop managed to find a similar one just have to modify it slightly.
