Got stuck, engine revs but not going anywhere. Dropped sump, found lots of metal at the bottom. Box was removed and stripped, couple of the gears are stripped, plastic washers melted. Looks to be non-salvageable. So looking for a new box.

Does anyone know if a 4x2 auto box would work? I've been told by some yes and some no. Looking for anyone who has done the actual swop.
