Good morning. I recently replaced my Landcruiser 105 with a 2012 Hilux DC V6 4x4.
Any idea what function the switch on the bottom left corner of the photo below, performs? It appears on closer inspection to be an aftermarket installation.
I plan to enquire with the dealer on Monday but would appreciate any perspectives/suggestions.

Re: Unknown switch on console below drivers side cup holder
HI Jay, It is quite possible that the switch you are referring to is for spotlights? It is clearly a after market fitment centre switch thus is could be for quite a wide range of applications. Spotlights, lightbar, compressor and even possible for a dual battery setup link override?
Have a look in the engien bay for unused wiring that is fitted as it is usually quite easy to spot aftermarket wiring compared to factory wiring.

Yep, definitely after market.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Most Hilux's could use one of those on the open road!

Many thanks for the replies. Wiring in the engine bay looks stock standard. The search/enquiries continue. No need for NO2 thanks
