Torsion bars on ifs

Hi guys
Need help with instaling and setting torions bars on my 2000 model hilux single cab.kz te 2X4.
Tried everything and bakkie still have no suspension
Please help

I'm not familiar with the IFS suspension intricacies but if it's properly fitted you will have to take the weight off the front wheels (jack it up) and torque up the tension on the torsion bars, same number of clicks on each side. I don't know what the torque specs are, but you can do it by trial and error - take it up one or two clicks at a time after the initial torquing until it stands level. Perhaps someone that knows can be of further assistance. :winkx:

Thank you. Done all the setting up and down.still rock hard
disconnect shocks even stabiliser bar.even took the brackets up one notch on the splines of the bars
Ps.all upper, lower bushes,upper, lower balljoints.inner outter tie rod ends, idler arm, pitmam arm and shocks replaced new.not yellow poly bushes.
Disconnected torsion bars to check upper and lower control arms for seizure. No luck.
Driving me crazy

I see .... so you don't have the problem that it sits right down but the opposite (no suspension movement).

I was going to suggest that you remove the shocks and see what that does, but I see you've already tried that. Can you move the control arms up and down when the stabilizer / torsion bars are disconnected?

@mud dog.yes.i disconnected everything in order to see if I havnt press the bushes in the wrong way causing the control arm not to move freely.

Thanks guys for the advice.
The torsion bars is no more. Kaput. Ism.
After a lot of up and down came to the conclusion that the bars has solidified did not know it could.
Have 2 new ones on order from Toyota @1100 each.
