The door open light on my IFS KZ 2002 does not come on when I open the any door. The interior light works on the the doors.
All other lights on instruments 100%.
I have some of the wiring cct for IFS , but can not find the interior light in any of these.
Did you have this problem before OR can you help with cct for instrument cluster.?
Please.

Re: IFS door open light fault
If the light in the cabin is working then I think it is safe to assume that the circuit is working properly. This further seems to indicate that the light bulb in the instrument cluster has blown. The first thing I would do is to remove the instrument cluster and check the bulb.

My thoughts exactly. Consider how often that we have a door standing open while chatting / saying goodbyes, or packing / unpacking the vehicle. It's quite possible that this is the hardest working bulb in the cluster which may be cause for it to have failed.

Re: IFS door open light fault
Thx for the replies.
Dit was waarvoor ek bang was.......
Dat ek dit cluster moet uithaal.
Is dit moontlik om by die bulb te kom sonder om ALLES uit te haal? Hoop so.
Dankie.
PS: Is there any schematics for for instrument panel. like key switch and how the acc/ on , etc works.
I would like to connect EGT to Acc , but not easy to find wiring besides connecting it on the lighter socket.

Re: IFS door open light fault
Stupid question has it ever worked ?
I have a 2002 IFS Raider 4x4 and I have no door open light on the instrument cluster, only the interior light above the rear view mirror.
