Gear box kafreakinboom!

Post by Van »

Hello all!
On saturday avi on my way back from Kruger.....
Just outside Machado Dorp the gearbox started making some seroius KRRRRRRRRR noises
1,2,3 and 5 are the affected gears. 4 and reverse work. I was able to get back home in 4th.

My question is who can I take my lux to in the PTA area to strip and repair the box. I am guessing either a broken tooth or stripped cog???

Cheers H

If it's still the original box, look at the option of upgrading the box at the same time .... the old boxes can't handle the V8. ;-)

Thanks for the help guys.

The bellhousing will fit the kzte box.
Complete kzte box with transfer case for R7500. but then they keep the 4y box and transfer case.
