Meccie in Someset West / Strand area

Hi All

As you might or might not know, I bought Roy! Yay. Now it's time for Roy to get some special attention to fix things like the battery running down because of the altenator and to get the timing chain done and the brakes that take a bit late. A few general things before I take him off road.

I know Dr Hoppy is good, but he is far away. Shaun also mentioned someone in the Parow region but it's a bit of a drive for me to cart someone along in another car to have a lift back etc. Especially if it's a 2-3 day job.

So if any one knows of a "Forum Approved" Mechanic in Somerset West or the Strand area please post or PM me. I'd like to get Roy in this week or at latest next week.

Hello all.

Just want to re-visit this topic to see if advice is still the same or if there's some new suggestions.. Need to have a Hilux expert have a look at my KZ-TE DC 4x4... Any suggestions for a reputable, knowledgeable mechanic in Somerset West / Strand?
