Is it viable to convert my current 2x4 into a 4x4 2008 S/C hilux

Welcome Ziggy!
The short answer is usually no. Of course it's very possible and spares required are easily available but it's the cost of those spares (you won't always be able to source good 2nd hand parts) and of course the labour and down time involved.
By far more often than not, it's a better option to sell the standard 2x4 and buy a good 4x4, than the cost of converting.

A 2018 model GD6 2.6 D/C at a cost price of 500k compared to now similar with 4x4 is minimum 800k. The car mileage is 170k.. to compare the repurchase costs, please on estimated costs of conversion.

At minimum you'll need:
- The transfer case
- The front axle and suspension
- The wiring harness and ECU
- The interior pieces, gear levers/switches etc
Go ask at Toyota for prices on all of those, then (at least) double the cost for labour, and you'll have a good idea of cost.

If you buy those parts new from Toyota it will probably cost you more than the vehicle.
If you want to make it more affordable you will have to buy used parts.
If you buy used parts for the conversion you might as well buy a used 4x4 version of the same vehicle.
Conversions like these are not worth it, is better to buy a vehicle that is already 4x4.
