Will 16 inch rims fit a 16 sr5 hilux

Gday guys Just wondering if some 16x8 rims will fit on a 2016 Toyota hilux sr5 (n80) that currently has 18s on it Mayne concern is with the break calipers
(Rims are 16 inch fuel vectors)
Have bean told it will fit from some manufacturers and that it won’t by others so ?
