Resizing Pictures the easy way!

Post by CasKru »

Hey guys and gals. I found a nice little application (for free) which you run on your pc. When you copy pictures into a specified directory it will automatically resize / resample the images to the specifics you set up in it's settings.

Check out this link: http://www.dropresize.com/

Here is an example of a file I resized this way (orig size 2272x1074 & 916Kb)(new Size 800x600 & 62Kb)
4 x 4 2005 517.jpg

Also thought so the first time round. Just close the folder and open it again. When you first paste it, it seems it show the properties as at the time when pasting but when you "refresh" you will see that the properties has changed.

I had some .NET error with it, and I thought it was because I pasted too many photographs. Then I tried to recreate it and I couldnt. I just pasted 54 pics (5Mb and bigger) into the folder and Dropresize just chugged away and resized them all... MUCH better than doing them one by one..
