BMW Cruiser - Big Boxer - 1800cc

Post by pietpetoors »

I like this, it would be awesome if they do it.
I never liked Harleys much, but this one I would go for:
BMW R18
BMW R18
The biggest boxer engine to ever grace a BMW series production motorcycle is destined to take the fight straight to Harley-Davidson and Indian.

Less than a year after blasting onto the stage at the Concorso d’ Eleganza Villa d’ Este in Italy, what began as the Concept R 18 has evolved to become a fully-fledged production model. Meet BMW's big, burly, bare-knuckled Cruiser.

Not a Harley fan either, but this is something I would consider looking at and taking for a test drive :crazy2: Although, I must say that coming from an adventure bike, the RnineT was already rather harsh to ride on our roads, not sure if this one will be any better. Being a BMW Boxer; at least the engine vibrations are most probably under control and there will not be a need to remove dentures etc before going on a ride :laugh2:

Dislike Harley's with a passion. The BM's on the other hand, whilst I'm not a very big fan, are reliable and robust bikes. Not sure I like the styling of that one.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
