NOTICE TO ALL CLUB AND FORUM MEMBERS - PLEASE READ

It has come to our attention that there have been incidents whereby persons have falsely presented themselves as "authorised representatives" of clubs and/or forums for personal gain in respect of free / reduced accommodation costs or fees at lodges, resorts, trail operators etc in return for favourable write-ups / reports. Fortunately, to the best of our knowledge it has not yet affected the Hilux Club or Forum.
Let it be known however, that should a member be found to be indulging in such practise without proper sanction from the committee, such person/s will be immediately banned from both Club and Forum, as well as being pursued legally IRO both criminal and civil charges.
This notice is merely a friendly warning, but it's intent is serious. Lets keep our reputations intact, personally and as club members, and not undermine the efforts of all those who have worked to build the esteem of the Club / Forum.
