Is there anyone other thank Donkey planning on cycling the 94.7 cyclechallenge on the 18th November? Would be great to hear if there are other keen cyclists on the forum...

Are you doing the 40km mountain bike or the 94.7km?

Was chatting to Donkey about it... If I do decide to go up for it will definitely not do the mountain bike challenge. I fall off too much on mountain bike trails and never manage to uncleat my boots fast enough and then hurt myself badly... on the road manage to uncleat in time to prevent a fall, most times anyway... Probably do the 94.7 km enough time to get fit enough for that.. was thinking of that as a preparation for next years Argus... Want to see how many of my friends from CT will be going up for it... Stubs are you keen?

I'm in, thanks for the thread Val.

We're getting Sebata's bike month end and so will start training with him. Another cousin of ours (Dr. Long) is doing it the 2nd time, 5 months and Sebata will be the killer Lion on tar :dance1:

I might just be in on the 40km mountain bike challenge... I have not been on my bike in 2 years or so and am extremely lazy when it comes to training... :blackeye:

Me also thinks whilst we're at it, get sponshirships on this too to help raise funds for our social responsibility as we have with A4C to keep the momentum going, at least the okes who don't wish or can't cycle can participate that way
