I am planning on going in September but I am looking for weather data around that time. What is it like that time of year? I'd rather stay at home than sit in a tent waiting out terrible weather at the coast.

weather always ok watch out for the monkeys......................everything eatable out of site..................and they can open a ammo box, they can open a tent.........they even steel my potato of the braai while I was standing a few meters away.............. just saying. enjoy.

Yep, I see all over the monkeys is a problem. But I made my booking about R480 a night for camping.

During one of my November visits there were a family with a kitchen unit on a trailer. The entire trailer were covered with steel mesh, to keep the monkeys out. everybody were taking picture, they then put up a sign R5 per pic R20 with the wife in the kitchen.......
