Amarok Accident

Post by Taljaag »

With this e-mail I would like to thank Volkswagen for saving my husband’s life on 17 February 2013. The Amarok rolled 5 times after a collusion with another vehicle on the Settlers road on the way to Warmbaths. When the Amarok eventually came to a still stand, ……… switched off the radio, took his safety belt off and push the door to open, and climbed out! By the look of things, it could’ve been worse...but he survived the accident with minor injuries. Only a little scratch on his hand, arm and nose.

This is the safest vehicle EVER on the road to drive!

THANK YOU! Forever THANK YOU!!!

Of is ek nou verkeerd?

Any bakkie older than about 8 years would have looked much better after the accident, but the injuries to all of the occupants would have been much worse if not fatal. Sure the bakkie is a write off, but the driver got out almost unharmed!! In my opinion absolutely worth every soft bit of panel and plastic that gets damaged oh so easily on far less brutal accidents.

It is all about impact absorption around that cabin. Looking at these pictures it did what was expected from it. That cabin looks in tip top shape.

So gelees ja.
