I was wondering about when the dunes will come
I think the 4.5 and v6 gives the same figures.

Empty or with a light load, the 4.0 will win, fully loaded the 4.5 will win hands down.

I did this run in 2009 with one of the first V6 Cruisers we got.(that was me in the V6)
That year we were about 13 Cruisers.3 V6's and 10 4.5 Efi's.
The next year we were 24 Cruisers.20 V6"s and only 4 4.5 Efi's.

The 4.5 EFI's were built to run with a full load all-day, they had a bigger(but slow changing) gearbox and lots of low down torque, the power at the bottom end is more usable and the engines will go at least 400 000 km without any repairs, so definitely the better workhorse.

The V6 has the sweeter(but weaker) gearbox, it is faster and lighter on fuel and nicer to play with.

this is exactly what the clip shows... the 4.0 pulls away faster with the more kw but on the dune the 4.5 almost catch it with the torque.....wonder what would have happened if the dune was even bigger.

On the long dunes and with a heavy load, the 4.5 takes it
