Cooper Dust Series Western Cape S4E1

Post by ThysdJ »

Series 4 Episode 1.

Yes the Dust Series is entering its 4th year, with 7 regions and 2 sub regions. All battling it out to end up with 10 finalists in each region to duke it out for top honours (and a set of Cooper Tyres) at the Finals again in 2019.

After our hugely successful Finals in 2018 we are working hard to do it even better in 2019. Part 1 of the video is available here.

Is there anybody who wants to join in the Western Cape adventure? We are doing Urban4x4 for a change. Really? Urban 4x4 you ask? Yes, we are doing Urban4x4 and it is NOT mall crawling.

We do end up at Welgelegen4x4, however, for a bit of real 4x4 off road at the end, just so that you can get some dust on your car to take home with you.

Where will is this Urban4x4 you speak of Thys?
With each replacement of parts, a car slowly becomes Chinese.

It is being held in the streets of Stikland and Brackenfell young Pampoen.. Competitors will visit some of our sponsors and they will have challenges at their showrooms/workshops.

The event kicks off at Johann Tyre's 1st Outdoor and 4x4 shop in Stikland, then moves to Burnco, around the corner where Dino and Hein will treat the guys to an urban4x4 obstacle that promises to test driver skill. Once done at Burnco, the competitors will move on to Gomad4x4 where they will take part in something never before seen or heard of in this fine country of ours. It will be a spectacle of note.

After everybody finished the Gomad obstacle, they depart for Welgelegen4x4 on the Bottelary Rd between Brackenfell and Stellenbosch, where the #stofgevreet crew will make sure every competitor's driving skill is tested to the limit.
