Hilux SFA build 1:10

Howzit guys,
I have been working on a project for the last few weeks, it is an SFA(single cab), being built from the ground up.
Chassis has been completed and is now rolling, got the motor as well as the transfer case in. Last few days I have being playing with the suspension set up.
First week in January the body will be going in for paint, color still to be decided.
I'll post a few pics in the next day or two.
The main aim of this build is to compete with it next year.

There are a few one day events being arranged for next year, very similar to the Bridgestone challenge.

Neil that "undercoat" colour you have currently on your body panels would be a perfect colour.

Ok, so I'm going to "let the cat out the bag":

There are currently four kits available:
Land Rover 110
Land Rover 90
Hilux SFA S/C
Toyota Land Cruiser 40 series
They are available at the 4x4 Direct shop in Boksburg only (for now).
There is also plenty accessories available for these RC 4x4's

If interested in a kit you can do one of three things, visit the shop, mail me neil@4x4direct.co.za or lastly give me a call on 011 823 5319.
I'll post more pics as the build goes along.

The miniature detail is amazing! Authentic looking diffs, those shackles and their little bolts, the prop even has a slip-joint ..... way cool! Not my cup of tea, but awesome!

Neil is it one of those where you have to assemble everything yourself, like the diff, etc. What I mean is does the diff comes as a unit or do you have to assemble the diff yourself?

Pieter, the diff is pre-assembled, but needs to be striped and greased, then assembled again.

Luckily they are Windhoek lights otherwise Neil will still be busy unpacking the box
