Which / Watter SUV?

Post by Potifar »

Hi manne, I'm really very exited, we are becoming parents in October!!! :yahoo: Already bought new set of wheels this weekend, a lekker off-road pram, with cup holders etc!

But the age old itch is back again, and I think our little one will need a new SUV. our Jetta is a stunning car, but I think we are going to need something with a nice big boot, also economical and yes, it must look the deal! I know, I know, the Jetta (2011 Tsi,95 000km) has a huge boot, but come on boys, help me here! Need to be under R300 000, little as possible km's, or even new, spacious and with enough gadgets to keep my "swearrie" (bro in law :blackeye: ) silent. And no, nothing French or Italian...

Help me by giving your expert advice :mafia: , that by the time I decided, I can give a proper submission to Swambo about what and why!

My list is the following cars:
Audi Q5
Honda CR-V
Toyota Rav 4
Mazda CX 5
Fortuner (but this one and Audi's km's is probably be high)
Ford Kuga

What is your opinion and advice? If we must, come over and we'll braai, and decide!
As ons werk, dan werk ons hard. As ons speel, dan speel ons hard. As ons braai, dan speel ons nie!

I'll be driving it most of the time, for Swambo drive only 4km to work and back (with the v6), and I 100km a day. My parents farm in the Eastern Cape, and the in-laws live in Joubertina, we love to take gravel roads and agterpadjies when on holiday.

Pajero Sport.

Most underrated 4x4.

My vrou is BAIE gelukkig met haar Freelander 2.

Maar soos jy self se, jou gat jeuk net. Die ou mense se: Ry arm, bly ryk.

Hi Dean, my wife like the Fortuner, but the fuel consumption is a little high when I look at other SUV's.

Q5 2.0 tdi
Power - 125 kW @ 4200 rpm
Torque - 350 Nm @ 1750 rpm
Economy - 6.7 l/100km

Fortuner 2.5
Power - 106 kW @ 3400 rpm
Torque - 343 Nm @ 1600 rpm
Economy - 9.1 l/100km

Fortuner 3.0
Power - 120 kW @ 3400 rpm
Torque - 343 Nm @ 1400 rpm
Economy - 8.6 l/100km

Parte verstaan ek is duur vir n Honda.

Hi Daar,

Groete

:lmao:

Maar belangrikste van alles, ons gaan vandag vir die 20 weke scan (op 21 weke), en ons gaan sien of dit 'n riempie of klein swambo'tjie is!!! Moerse opgewonde!!! :celebrate:
