Silicon coatings do that too. Wonder what nano technology is being used, because water / dirt / oil repellent coatings have been around for a long time already. :think:

Still looks like good stuff....

I wonder how much it would cost to have a hilux completely coated in that all parts etc.
Would have to have the hilux completely cleaned first or a new one off the showroom floor.... :lol:

Seems like you spray it on like paint and there are 2 coats

From their spec sheet:
Pressure:
• Remains dry under 1 foot of water for months
• Remains dry under 90 feet of water for 6 days

Taber abrasion: Remains superhydrophobic for 30 cycles of tabor test with CS10 wheel
Toughness: Remains superhydrophobic for over 600 rubs with latex glove or cotton cloth
Salt fog:No visible corrosion after 1,000 hours of salt fog
