Hi guys, am driving back to Capetown this coming Saturday 01st sep, want to split the drive and not doss in my truck like I did on the way up...anyone got suggestions for an overnight stop around the colesberg area, its about halfway.....nothing fancy, just a bed, even a patch of grass to put my tent up...and a shower....and maybe where I can light a fire and braai a tjop and a cold one.....
Am leaving Modimolle at about 0300 hours and am on my own......

You can sleep over just before the dam wall - at a place called Green Doors. They have cheapish chalets with their own braais and TV etc. I enjoyed it, as it is app. 5km from the N1 - thus you don't hear the traffic and a pub with restaurant. Prices was very good in April last year tel no. 051 7540190 or 079 5222 566 stay@Green-Doors.co.za You turn off at the Gariep Dam signs and just across from the Forever Resort
