Normally I don't talk about what is going on behind the scenes at the online shop. You get strange kinds of people

I know generally people distrust online stores.
But this one takes the cake.

We sent out a parcel today and poor old Desiree sent this client the wrong tracking number.
The client searched on Speed Services web site and saw that the parcel has already been delivered in June

So instead of asking that we make sure about the tracking number, the very first correspondence we get from him is:

Hi
If this is how you work by bull $hiting people This will not be the end You hear from me

Eina!!! Hy het seker al voorheen 'n bloutjie geloop met online shopping. Daar is so baie skelms daar buite wat mense besteel.

Moenie worry oor die ou nie man, wees die beter een en stuur hom sommer 'n klein geskenkie om hom te laat sleg voel en sy denkwyse te verander.

Wat sal 'n mens kan sê. Ek het al baie (±R5000) by jou gekoop en die een keer wat ek moes wag toe julle nie stock gehad het nie (Brad Harrison plugs) het ek 2 ekstra gratis en verniet gekry . Ek noem dit diens en ek het nog nie een keer gevoel ek gaan ingedoen word nie. Hou aan met julle goeie diens, en ja, ons almal is mense en is somtyds geregtig om foute te maak - dan maak ons maar die ou foutjie weer reg - of wat praat ek dan nou alles

Ek verkoop ook goed as n on-line shop (studie materiaal vir ingenieurs). So elke nou en dan kry ek ook maar "interessante" kliente. Die een man betaal sy geld in, en sy verwysing is "study material", so GEEN manier wat ek hom kan trace nie .... en so wag ek maar vir hom om sy betaling te bevestig, EN sy pos adres vir my te stuur.

Twee weke later kry ek darem n WARM epos, en die man vertel my so sleg Johannes se see sal my nie eens kan afwas nie. Ek stuur toe net n KORT epos terug: "Thank you for confirming your payment. Please provide your postal details" .....

Pieter, don't stress. An honest mistake was made. He will be ok once he gets the correct tracking number. He just figured he'd been ripped off and was blowing off steam. I'd feel the same if it happend to me, only I wouldn't have been so polite.

Pieter, the fact that you take this kind of thing ersonally proves that you are one of the good ones.
I have now bought many things off of this forum from various memebrs and aside from disappointing transaction everyone else has really gone the extra mile. In fact I have often had to really fight to pay them the money I owed them as they kept putting it off.

Maybe the guys here are just truly a great bunch

Ok i haven't got anything from you YET but if the service standard of this forum is anything to go buy then your service will be very high standard....

I have dealt with Eric and his service was 130% above any service had in SA for a long time and thats the standard of this forum so far.....

All i can say is take it with a bag of salt and hope he feels like a complete idiot when he does get his things......
