As per instructions, here I am to introduce myself.
My name is Johann Marais-van Vuuren
I live in Centurion and I am the owner of Cellsound, the Rockford Fosgate sound agent in Centurion.
Even though my core business is automotive sound, I have been taking on more and more of what I call "vehicle refreshing" projects.
I don't want to be presumptuous and call them restorations.
The main aim of these "refreshments" is to return the vehicles to as close as possible to the appearance and condition that they had when they were new off the showroom floor.
Projects that I have handled this past year include:
FJ 62 Land Cruiser sound proofing and interior refurbishment with a BIG sound system. (this one has a Perkins diesel engine)
FJ 62 Land Cruiser refreshment with full engine, suspension and drivetrain overhaul with respray and new interior (still in progress)
FJ 45 Land Cruiser cosmetic restoration with new OEM door panels, floor mats, cluster and trim. This one is getting a new load bed (currently in the panel shop)
1978 Chevrolet C10 with 78K original kilometers that was in for some cosmetic work and upholstery repairs.
1972 Chevrolet C10 respray with colour change and all new trim and to return the bakkie to as close as possible to new factory original condition.
1968 Chevrolet C30 for some cosmetic work and a brake overhaul.
1976 For F100 automatic with 90K original kilometers for some cosmetic work,
1983 Toyota HiLux 2WD for some cosmetic work.
Complete rebuild of a 1974 VW Beetle as a birthday gift for a customer's wife.

Welcome Johan! Good luck with the projects!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
