Membership renewal

Hi guys

Been a member for a while but not on the forum till now. I have just renewed my membership for another year as well as applied for renewal of my Radio Licence. Must say the guys here at Admin are sure on the ball with their advise and speedy responses. Keep it up guys.

IRO your membership, renewal will be due at the end of May and you will receive a renewal notice via e-mail. If your e-mail address has changed, you should update it in your club profile (let me know if you have a problem with it).

Yes all still well with us, Bokkie sends her regards to all. We just miss the old friends. Hopefully we will make good friends here too.
We will be leaving on 28 May for Angola, Namibia and Kgalagadi. We will only be back home 16 August. My e-mail address is the same, is it possible to send it to me before so that I could pay before we leave on our extended trip or can I just pay in May as the club is on my EFT list. Just let me know the amount.

Ben you can do the payment any time between now and when you leave. The current subscription amount is R160 for the year. You will receive an automated renewal reminder now shortly at end April unless you make a payment before then. Either way the POP notifications come through to me and I'll sort it from this side as soon as I see one from you.

I assume that you will also be needing your radio user authorisation before you go, so we will make sure that you get it timeously.

If we don't chat again before then, have a safe and wonderful trip.

My membership is also comming up soon, so am awaiting my notification.
I however cannot remember my new HC number for my radio's.
I also must have missed the colours and size of the HC call sign for the radio's.
Last I heard from Eric you people were still deciding on that.
Please fix this on my Haboob thingey on my forum profile please, do not even know if it is done or not. You know my computer illeteracy.

We must arrange a GTG again soon as Viv says we are not allowed to go on holiday this year. We have bought a little caravan which looks more like a trailer, which I am busy fixing and kitting out to get it live-able.
Fetched it in Paarl and brakes were binding which I did not know about until I got home and felt how hot the drums were. Thought my van was very under powered, pulling this small van/trailer around which did not want to get over the hills without a big struggle.
Now everything that gets added to it is making it heavier, so will again row it up the hills.

Ja, must definitely get together again soon. Sher is not here, - visiting family in OZ. I am alone for the next 3 months! Time to play!! ..... Just have to wait for Dylan to finish with my van ... EFI conversion / tank enlargement / starter recon / fuel sender unit replacement / old spare tank removed / original spare wheel winch refitted.

Maybe we can organise a braai here at my place in the meantime?
