Greetings to All
Hi there - joined the forum a while back and need to say Hi.
Had to get rid of my 1999 Prado Import because I am no longer involved in Lesotho and bought a 2002 Hilux with Canopy Caravan.

Welcome Brian,
That is REALLY nifty. Looks like a camper on the RHS and a normal canopy on the LHS. Do you just push a button to switch between the two???

Re: Greetings to All
Welcome aboard, Brian!! Nice truck!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: Greetings to All
No Steve - pushing a button would be great.
The camper has a wheeled frame for removal & fitting. Takes about 45 minutes to mount / dismount.
I use a fredlin hoist for the canopy.

Re: Greetings to All - Inside Photo's
Here are some photo's of the inside of the Canopy Caravan.
I can't lift the roof inside the garage. Once the roof is raised I can stand right up to the fridge.
Still got some work to do as it is >10 years old and I want to do some customising.
Plenty of cupboard space and also hatches under the bunks to get access to the spaces between the bak and base of camper. Dual battery already installed. Will fit solar panels on the roof.
If you want more photo's let me know.

Re: Greetings to All - Previous Setup
Here is a photo of my previous setup, taken at Kubu Island in April this year.
Had to sell the Prado KZTE Import because of Lesotho registration and no longer involvement in Lesotho. Was a very sad day !
