Fully Accredited: For the 4x4 enthusiast who wishes to be accredited according to the unit standards. This will provide the learner with a formal qualification in terms of Unit Standard 254135 - Apply the techniques for operating four wheel drive (4WD) vehicles, in on-road and off-road conditions, and takes 2 days to complete.

This course has a high theoretical content, but also includes some practical demonstrations, and formal assessment on the ground where practical driving is required. The costs involved in R1500 for the weekend, excluding the use of a vehicle and/or fuel.
