We are happy to announce that African Offroad Academy (Western Cape) presents a 4x4 Driver Training weekend on 9/10 April 2011. There are still a limited number of seats avalable on this course, please contact me for more details, if you are interested.

The learning program has been developed for the 4x4 & Off-Road vehicle operator who wishes to obtain a formal accredited certificate of competence for off-road driver skills on a nationally accepted Unit Standard 254135. Attached is a schedule of our training weekend up to June 2011 in order for you to book training at a suitable time.

THE LEARNING PROGRAMME
This learning program is based on and approved on Unit Standard 254135 - apply the techniques for operating four wheel drive (4WD) vehicles, in on-road and off-road conditions.

LEVEL/CREDITS
The competent learner will be credited on the National Learner Record Database with: NQF level 3 Credits 4

ASSUMED LEARNING
It is assumed that the learner assessed on this unit standard will be in possession of a code A, B or EB driver license.

DURATION
2 Day (Weekend)

COST
R1500.00

INCLUDES:
Facilitation day
- Access and use of approved training facility.
- Facilitation by a trained accredited instructor.
- Approved learning material.
- Refreshments and lunch.

Assessment Day
- Access and use of approved training facility.
- Assessment by a trained accredited assessor.
- Approved assessment material.
- Refreshments.
- Proof of competence.
- The successful learner will receive:
- Accredited Certificate of Competence
- Cloth logo
- AOA Peak Cap


EXCLUDES:
This does not include the use of an off-road vehicle and fuel.
Vehicles are available at additional cost and prior arrangement.
Overnight accommodation and camping can be arranged at an additional cost.
