Dealerships around JHB for selling "old" Prado - recommendations?

Post by ITNothofer »

Good morning.

With heavy heart I am planning to sell my 2000 Prado (as I am moving overseas). Are there any good dealerships specialized in buying used 4x4s that you could recommend?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome Iris. The guys up your way might have better recommendations, but you could speak to Imperial Toyota and if they don't have a used / pre-owned division, they could perhaps recommend someone for you. Good luck.

A dealership will not give you much. They are not into buying 2nd hand cars. They will give you a slightly better price if your trade it in on something on which they can make a profit.

You might get a better deal from webuycars.co.za. Post the details on their web site and they will give you a price. Sometimes they do not pay too bad, better than most dealers will for an outright buy.

What condition is it in? What is the millage and is it the Petrol or Diesel?
