fitting lockers

hey guys i would like to fit a rear locker probably a detroit ezy locker or something similar,
im just wondering how hard they are to fit and what tools are required, and if there is a good link to follow somewhere in the internet
its for a standard rear axle on an 85 lux

These "lunchbox" lockers performs well off road (all off them)
The problem comes on road, here they do not have nice manners and will lock if in town and power is applyd around corners
they also have the tendency to "shake" the car viciously every now and then (the first time this happened to me I thought the end was near , but you get used to it after a while)

Bang for bucks there is nothing better
150kw and more motors have a tendency to eat these little lockers though

what about fitting it in the front diff so theres no onroad issues and so it lasts longer?

Rule off thumb says that 70% improvement in the rear and only 30% in the front
Personally my competition truck is open in the front

allrite ill go for the rear i might put one in the front as well later on because they r well priced

I come from the land down under so thats not one of my languages, :mrgreen:
you buy the aussie locker offline only as far as i see and on average there a 1/3 of the price and they say they are easier to fit than the ez locker

I fitted lockrights front & rear on my single cab. WOOOOW ! WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES ! :thumbup: . I allready got 2 more lockrights at home to fit to my double cab.
1993 Hilux 2.4D S/C - 31" Khumo Muds , Lockers F/R , OME Suspension , Snorkel , Extended Shackles etc
1996 Ssanyong Musso 602EL - OME Suspension
