Car Logo Door Courtesy Lights

Post by pietpetoors »

Don't know if anyone has seen these, perhaps I am just behind the time.
One of my suppliers sent me a picture and I ordered some with my last order.
What is your opinion about this?

The idea is that it illuminates the ground under the door when you open the door.

The price I still have to see what I can do. I think I paid too much for these.
I ordered it and two weeks later received an offer from another supplier at half the price.
I know these are very good quality but do not know the quality of the other supplier yet, will have to test it first.
If I sell these the price will be about R650 per set. If the other supplier's quality is the same, we look at about R280 a set of two.

I like the idea that it comes complete with a hole saw.

My thoughts exactly.

Blommie ek sal slaap daaroor

Have a look on the 2nd page of this thread where I fitted some courtesy lights under the doors, essentially for Swambo, but it works so well and has often come in handy with some other elderly passengers at night. I would do it again to my next vehicle!

I think courtesy lights are wonderful, I think some people are just put off by the logo.

Andy, when you do your next one, get one of my remote switches and put the courtesy lights on that. So when you comes close to your vehicle you can switch it on with the remote even before you reach the car

As ek een kan kry wat se "Die eienaar gaan jou moer!" as n dief my deur oop maak sal ek hom koop!
