there are few things that can match A well kitted out Lux... this old beauty however in my eyes will always be right up there with the best. It is 100% original and in sound mechanical condition...all it needs is a new paint job...which I am told is soon going to happen. It is 1940. 6 X wheel drive ford military truck. My neighbour owns it and I have been coveting it for some time now. Last I checked one is allowed to covet your neighbours trucks....

Those oldies are hard to come by. Especially in a original condition.

Those Ford trucks had a sidevalve V8 with a masive flywheel, rumour has it that a good mechanic could tune it so that the idling was so slow you could count the fan blades

Now that is something to cherish! Please post pics after the paint job as well. What colour is he going for? I quite like the existing Military Green/Red combo! ;)
