Nice trip report Thomas and thanks for sharing.I also visited Die Hell in July last year but was unable to complete the top part of the Swartberg Pass as the pass was closed after the turn off to Die Hell due to rockfalls. Will try again later this year as the Karoo is really a great area to explore.

Hi John.KWT has changed like everywhere else has but there is still a nucleus of die- hards left here. The many eating establishments which KWT was renowned for,are all gone and have made way for the fast food outlets. Re: 4.0 V6 Vigo Or NICE un molested SFA Hilux?
Howzit George.I've owned numerous SFA hiluxes and now drive a vigo 4x4 and so I think I can give fair comment on both vehicles. As Andy stated, the sfa is a much tougher and robust vehicle and is better suited for the rough trails and bundu bashing. The vigo is also a very capable hardy vehicle but I...

I really like the idea of having the duel fuel filler pipe from one cap. Thanks Andy. That is the big issue as the merc uses a flat multigroove belt and the toyota has a v belt. The diameters are about the same.I somehow still think the pump is faulty. Will try another same pump first and take it from there. Wade spoke to some steering hydro boffins who say that the merc pu...
