The road south from Ngoma was ok up to as far as Mabele (IIRC) then it's a twee spoor with fairly long stretches of thick/very thick sand almost all the way to Savuti.
Towing is going to suck juice BIG time.......make sure you have enough fuel!!!!!!

Reinart, that's TWO questions!
I can only help with the first one, the guys have an adaptor plate for the transfer case so you can keep the 4x4 - after all that's the whole point - but it does mean that the propshafts have to be lengthened & shortened.

I just done some test. When the solar is connected it does not disconnect your loads. I connected the SP to the HCDP charger and than ran my fridge.My fridge is connected to the HCDP charger. Mike, I'm afraid to say the only way that a standard 4y/22r radiator is going to keep a V8 cool (any V8) is if you don't start it!

Llewellen, the only reason the sump gets changes is that the front diff on a SFA 4x4 is in the way.
On a 2x4 I doubt if need to change the sump. (Unless a cross member is in the way).

David, I had a chat to my mates. Dicktator does sell abroad but nit through a dealer network. The deal direct so I think the delay in response from them might be due to the holidays. A standard Dicktator ECU - which works on the 4Y - plus an ignitor (for the spark) - sells here at the moment for AUS...
