David did you measure the height before and after the lift? What shocks did you fit? It might be just that that the spacer lift 50mm and the shock also lifted a bit (depending on what shocks you fitted) and the angle on the CV is to big. I would say it is best to get a pro to have a look at it for y...

Surely you should be able to insure it for 3rd party/fire/theft.

Thats what I did back in the day with my VW golf 1. As you say, it will cover you in the case of an accident or worse, injury to any 3rd party. To me it is a must!

the drive train is the same as the 3.0 D4D, its just that you have the 2.5D4D. I have the base model 2.5 SRX 4x2 and love it.

I agree there is no place on a public road for street races, but if you look at the bigger picture. The metro could do much more by targeting the main cause of accidents and deaths on the road.
