What Johan said. The tracks are quite firm, BUT they are cross-axled on the dunes, so you need to plan your ascent properly. Use diff locks if you have and deflate properly for the journey. Run on top of the sand rather than on the sand.

Jy moet kyk na die hydraulic lifters. Hulle begin deurslyt waar die cam lobe hom druk, dan lek die olie deur en dan lift die lifters nie meer nie. Ek het dit op myne gehad, maar dit was daai tyd 'n $16 fix.

Get yourself something like these rails and use that to bolt the tent onto the canopy. I did that with mine. Love it!! I still wonder why we dont get a cab-chassis option as standard the same way the Aussies do. Flat tray backs are ideal and very practical even for overlanding, as you dont waste any space with curves and stuff.

We are still working on the dates. Slightly modified means anything that is not a Challenge car. e.g. pipe-car with 4 wheel steering etc etc. A handicap points system will be in place to put everybody on an even footing.
