Doubt if the side shaft's splines will have play. Its more the Crown wheel and pinion with the carrier bearings and pinion bearing that will make the backlash go out.

Yes that amount will be good if they replace all above.

Yes you can do that. Just make sure to wipe the old grease off time to time with a clean old cloth.

1mm play just at the splines. Check the movement of the overall length up to the centre bearing if you move it. You see it gets progressive bigger? 2 options. 1. It is the part near the diff that slides in and out. These splines can wear a bit.

Forgot to mention your sound will be the release bearing. All the dirty sand etc on it of the oil leak will make a sound.

Trick is with Power Brakes is to bleed the whole system out with Dot 5.1 brake fluid. The normal fluid cant stand the heat as with the higher performance temperatures the normal fluid gets like water.

Done 3 Hiluxes sofar with the same problem.

2015 Vigo got coils front with a strut, 2001 has torsion bars. Leafsprings longer than 2001 Leafs.

Only thing that can be used on 2001 will be the rear shocks.

On the SFA? Yes you can. Side shafts is enclosed completely. If you assemble just make sure you get the wheel bearings fastened correct.

On the 2.4 branches wont matter, do not have to be changed. Its a cross flow engine, it means the outlet sits on the left and the intake on the right.

On the 2.4 one need to source the intake manifold from the Usa. Only place you get them from. Make sure you get it complete. If you don't move the rotor phasing on manualy or in in the Ecu on by 40 degrees you wont get the performance of it.

The Ecu will differ from petrol to diesel. Your console ie the rev counter have to be replaced too.

Your choice will be either the EL043R springs if you not going to load the rear. The other option is the EL044R springs in the rear if you so now and again will load in the back. The difference is the load capacity of the springs, 1st option is a light load but still better than the STD leaf springs...

Phone Gearmax for the Carrier bearings and the shims, also the set pinion and ring gear. One need a Dail guage to setup the backlash between 0.15 to 0.20.

Laat hom stel by die ouens van Bosch. Net vra, jou thermostat, is die nog ok? Myne was ook so dat hy op en af idle. Die thermostat was heeltyd oop, na dit vervang was is die idling storie ook weg.

Dis kleiner flanges wat opgeweld is. Die manifolds wat ek het gaan met gemak in. Dis seker die die hoogte van die engine op die engine mounts relatief met die chassis wat dit maklik maak.

As ek reg onthou loop daai pulley op die gewone belt wat maar die altinator, power steering ens aandryf. Ek kyk vanaand.

Dan die exhaust manifolds sit ek in met die engine in. Het wel die flange is kleiner as std.

Was the leafspring pedestals(seats) reinforced the right way? If its not been right ANY Front Leafspring pack will let the front drop.

Met die spacers. As dit sonder gewig is voor go for it. Met 'n Winch, oorweeg die aftermarket suspensie.

Die ou L/C 79 se voorste diff is dieselfde as die Import diff van die SFA se agter diff. Net ratios verskil.
