Re: Need Some Advice Choosing A KZTE
Finding a good Kz is getting very hard. To convince the owner to sell is virtually impossible!! Injectors is quite cheap - should be way less than R5k per set. I would rather fork out to have the original pump reconditioned than bastardise the truck. Each to his own. I agree Thabo! Thanks for the fe...

Thanks Luke, And for the ZA guys what does a set of 4 Injectors go for? Also I do know that the fuel pump is ECU controlled and can give issues, I read somewhere on this forum, that Hoppy does a colt diesel pump conversion, does he still those?
Thanks in advance

Need Some Advice Choosing A KZTE
Hi guys I am looking for a good condition 4x4 DC KZTE. What should I be looking for when it comes to these vehicles, specifically the engine, any weak spots I would need to know about? I am just clutching at straws here but once you've tried all the above, give the throttle body a clean or possibly replace to see if it makes a difference. It could be a calumniation of a variety of things.

Here's a question directed to all who might know the answer. Ive checked compression, all's good, no blow by. Ive disconnected the rad and drained all antifreeze. Is there any way that there could be a vacuum hose from auto box to intake somewhere, that sucking fluid?
