Not sure what the setup is on the Vigo's, but I'd start looking at the remote RX (if seperate from the ECU). If the Vigo has a transponder key type immobilizer and and push starts like you say then I doubt if it would be the immobilizer. Also seems that the system does not sense the key being remove...

Had the same issue with oil out that hole ....if memory serves the original intake manifold covers that hole up whereas the EFi intake doesn't. Just plugged it with a bolt; I guess one could install an oil temp sensor there...
