Ha ha ha it should be interesting. The trail is easy enough not to break anything (touch wood), but I need to make sure nothing falls apart before we find some tough stuff.
Either way it should be a nice day in the winelands...

Helderberg4x4 on Sunday 28 Aug?
Anyone want to join me for a quick drive up the Helderberg two oceans 4x4 trail on Sunday? With a bit of luck there'll be some rain on Friday and Sat to liven things up a bit.

Well unless the valve is open there wont be any circulation through the heater. It the hoses will be full of water but not going anywhere if that makes any sense.

Re: heating system in the CAB
The system uses exactly the same pump that circulates the water around the engine and through the radiator. The heater valve only allows hot water to circulate through the in cab heater, so although there is water in the pipe to the valve there won't be any circulation until the valve is opened. Ble...

I've had some success putting the bolt in from the back of that ridge so that it sticks forward like a stud.
Then fit the seat and put the nut on the exposed bit of bolt. The the next struggle is getting a spanner onto the bolt head under the ridge, but it can be done.

The ICV should compensate for the aircon. If the management is set to idle at 600 then it wont let it drop lower than that. If it is set to 600 and idling higher under normal circumstances (800rpm) then you need to close up the idle screw on the throttle body until it idles correctly. Additionally t...
