Not only can you cause damage, but it is also illegal to tow anything more than half your vehicle weight, If it is NOT braked.
If it were braked, it should still not be heavier than the towing vehicle...

The other thing to look at with this vibration and that type of mileage, is the center Drive-shaft bearing and the actual drive shaft.
See if it is properly greased and then try and move it around. If you have unreasonable movement then start replacing, where there is the most movement...

According to them we would need a Rhino Card.

The only problem I had was a poor connection between the fridge power plug where it is plugged into the vehicle power or 220v power. Fiddle with the connections and that should tell you if it is getting intermittent power. I replaced my connections and it now works perfectly again...

Hi Stephen, These carbs are an aluminium pewter mixture which is much softer than the shafts which are metal. They thus start wearing out at about 200 000 km and have play in the amount of fuel and air they allow into the carb which results in the uneven idling and in your case, dying of the engine....
