Yes Eric, he stays very close to me, so I will see him a lot. The only problem is that he is very anti social media. His phone only gets used for calls, does not own a computer and so on. So I will have to take pics and post them.

A friend of mine and I worked all weekend last weekend on the bakkie. Got all the small problems sorted. Carb was a problem, not getting enough fuel due to blockage in inlet port. Well, I started the truck today. It started and ran not too bad. While I was busy adjusting the dist , The cap came loose somehow and broke the rotor. Radiator, cowl and pipes all in. Got the power steering pipes sorted and in. Just need some return hose as mine is not so good. Getting close to starting her up now. :thumbup:

Ja Andy it will just be a nice to have. I do need one every so often so it would not just sit there. It will not cost very much to make one, I had a transformer and the rest will all be made from scrap that is lying around. Just need something to switch it. :thumbup:

Thanks Tony. I taught myself to fiberglass through trail and error. Today I finished and fitted the door panels. I decided to cover them in cloth instead of painting them. I also made a badge for the grill where the Toyota badge goes. My old grill did not have a badge on.

Thanks gents, yes Marius I am also keen to hear some noise. Am going to get the radiator and piping next month, then we can start her up. Ja Andy, The fiberglass is about 4 mm thick, so a rivnut will be easy to fit and strong enough. But I dont plan on a roof console any time soon.
