Do you have the diff already?

If you have a local gearmax diff on your SFA already, I would rather take it to a gearmax agent, and have a diff lock fitted to your current diff.

Intercooler takes care of the heat generated by the turbo on the intake side. Compressing air generates heat and then also makes the air less dense. By then cooling it down through the intercooler the air becomes more dense which equals more air into the combustion chamber which equal more bang wit...

The Procomp kit actually only has new leaf pack for the front. The rear uses your old leaf pack, with the addition of a 4 inch spacer (block) that fits between the blades and the axle. Stefan, this is really not a difficult job at all. The tcase is not nearly as complicated as the gbox. There is nothing to set / adjust in the tcase, and at most probably one of the bearings. The Gbox, take that to Mayfair gearbox, they are Toyota and Aisin approved. Toyota uses Aisin gearboxes. htt...

Reinhart, Check that the globe is not loose in the socket / "holder". It needs to be a solid connection.

Very interesting conversion. Especially the diff that was turned 180deg. could you take a foto?

That would mean that the front propshaft on a prado tcase turn in the opposite direction of the SFA? How do you fill the diff with oil?

Or could they have swapped the half/side shafts around?

Jan, I am very close to doing that. I would prefer the OEM system, for reliability, etc. Will give it another go this weekend, maybe I missed a wire or something, if I cant get it running, then I will go Aftermarket. Ran Dictator previously, but might do a spitronics now..

Google those codes and post their meanings / descriptions here.

This EMS that you ordered from the USA, is it a standalone unit, or does it piggy back on the OEM ECU? On the Picture it looks like a piggy back type.

Maybe they should approach this in a different way, By forcing vehicles to go through road worthy every 2 years or so? That way you cover the modified as well as the un-modified vehicles. There are plenty of standard cars that dont get maintained, the tyres are done, brakes not to standard, etc. Tho...

Humphrey, please provide us with more information: What year Hilux, Model, double cab, etc. Standard suspension? Are you replacing, because the old ones ore tired?

Thanks Eric, I thought it is the Button. Will have to Open it up myself, as I bought it from someone else. The charger is basically brand new, I have used it something like 5 times, Cant dispose of it now, Fix I will.

I Had the exact same problem last night. Connect the charger to battery, Plug the charger in, and switch it on. No matter how many times I press the Mode Button, It doesnt select anything. Tried it on several (3) batteries and 2 of them are charged and working. :?:

So, Even if there is n valve before the heater (between the outlet on the engine and the inlet of the heater) The heater still "pressurises" with Hot water? My Idea was to stop water reaching the heater, incase the heater started leaking. The new heater valve has a flow direction. So stil ...
