Re: Snorkel DIY or Not
I did not do the full airbox mod by removing the 60mm section and the vortex fin. Some owners do it, but it is a crucial part of the water seperation unit. How it works it creates a vortex that will force all particles to the outer side op the pipe (90mm). The inner section is 60mm, the air zone. At...

Re: Snorkel DIY or Not
Some DIY. The kit piping not100% had to improvise with 76mm silicone piping. Also made the young man work on the wheel nuts. Re: Revo snorkel

Re: Clay tile advice needed
Hi pietpetoors

I've Build my own Off-road bumper and had the winch fitted 68 Kg in total to the front end. Lost 55mm from standard to after the new front end. Lost all the handling I originally had from the day I drove it of the shop floor. After allot of research on this forum and 4x4 community forum I made the d...

Re: IFS Replacement Bumper
Next project will be rock slides! I'm chewing on some ideas, do not know where to start. Brackets will be tricky, I do not want it to be obvious and clumsy. Rinus Dit lyk goed  . Ek laat ...

Re: IFS Replacement Bumper
Hi Louis Have done the same to my 2011 Hilux Onca/ARB ala Home-made 57Kg complete with 12000lbs Winch. It started of with ambition and not a budget to spend R17 000.00 on a commercial unit available. With powder-coating and the winch total R7500.00. Made a drawing on MS Visio, converted it to a Card...

Hi Everyone I'm also new to the forum-- Got myself a brand new Hilux D4D Raider 4x4 LW base 2012 --- Ons loop nog in. My other car a Ford Ranger 3000 DC 4x4 2009. Realy impressed with the Crawl ratio in 4L-1 compared with the Ford 4L-1 - I think with some traction the Hilux will clime any wall. Not ...
