Thanks Thabo. I changed the seal today. That was actually so easy to do. Now i just have to hold thumbs and see if it will leak again.

2700i Hilux EXTENSION HOUSING AND TRANSFER ADAPTOR oil seal

Hi guys. I need to replace the oil seal between my prop and gearbox. I have included a pic with some comments and questions regarding this job. I recently overhauled my prop, and centre bearing, and i'm pretty sure the leak started from having a seriously worn propshaft. The prop is 100% now, so by ...

Re: What was your first ever vehicle, and who bought it?

I Bought a Jetta 1 GLS from my grand mother in 1995 for R2500. The car was really bad, but i loved it, and eventually re-sprayed it and fixed up all the dents.

Re: Headlight upgrade! (Comparison between OEM, NightBr and

Very nice Mark and Alec. I must say i am a huge fan of HID's. I have been putting them in all my cars for the last 18 months. The real secret with HID's is not to exceed the 6000K rating because then you loose so much lux. More than 6000K looks cool and brighter, but in actual fact isnt.

Hello from Amanzimtoti first time Toyota owner

Hi all. I'm from Amanzimtoti, in Kwa-Zulu Natal. This is my first time owning a Toyota, and i must admit that i am so amazed! It has had a tough life on my Fathers farm, but i am spending some time to fix up the Propshaft and the front suspension. I have always been a die hard Fiat fan, but i think ...

I finaly own my very first Hilux

Hi guys. Here is my first Hilux that i own now. It had a tough life on my fathers farm in Barberton, but im fixing it up nicely now. I must admit that i am very amazed at how nicely it drives after 303000km of farm roads, and tar roads. Sorry the pic did not load but here it is. It is a 2700i 4x2.
