Re: Bazarre smoking after timing chain replacement ????
No Rory, don't change anything. It might take one or two more fuel top-ups to work the contaminated stuff out (if the reason was contaminated fuel). I was gonna fill up, thank God I didn't. But when I noticed that the fuel costs 999.01 per litre I got a litt...

In JHB I find it mandatory to pray before I leave home  Because by the time I get to the end of the street, in most cases there's people breaking almost every law you can think of. By then I'm usually in the wrong mood. :aggresive: :aggresive: :aggresive: This way I'm a more calm driver. :dan...

Thanks for the globes OOOMS  Now I don't wanna get out of the Hilux again. Dash looks really cool :cooldude: The globes you supplied are correct. LED Globes
Hi guys
Where in Johannesburg can I buy LED globes for my SFA today?
I would like to change the dome light, brake lights, as well as the dash lights.
Saw all the awesone products on the 4x4 shop, but they're in Langebaan?
Will post pics before during and after
Regards
Rory

Re: SFA 4y 2.2 Timing Chain Replacement
I have no idea? The speed says 305 000km. I bought it at 250 000km. Oil change every 10 000km. Obviously, the 22R was taken out and I don't know on what mileage was done or if it's true mileage etc. :?: I just replace as needed, as soon as I hear a sound or noise. Sometimes a little extra just in ca...

Hi I changed my timing chain yesterday. Cost me less than a grand :yahoo: I got quotes from Toyota: R2986.80  Steves Auto Clinic : R+-9000  The reason they gave me was because they said the head has to come off and the guides needed to be replaced :lmao: I know they do good work but tha...

This guy helped me out a few times.
Kelvin: 0833619761.
Yesterday he did my timing chain for me. Didn't kill me on labour. I bought the spares, (he went with me), and did the job at his place.
