I am busy overhauling my 22R engine and have found that my no 1 and 4 conrods are bent(therefore the loss in compression) do you know if an engeneering shop will be able to straighten them(I know they straighten bent valves) Have anyone ever done this before and would you reccomend it

What is the difference between the 22R and the 2.4 fuel injection Condor engine. I want to change to fuel injection. Would this be a straight fit(bell housing, mountings etc?)I know the outlet manifold sits on the other side

Very impressive, would you plse give me a quick breakdown of costs and spares used, if I understand correctly there was not a lot of modifications done other than the manifold and ecu and wiring

As far as I know the colour doesn't really make a difference,just check on the anti-freeze container when u buy it for a very high ethylene-glycol concentration,some of the cheapies don't even mention this concentration

I can really associate with your problem,but unfortunately you have to accept that 4x4=$$$$$$$$, some good news on the other hand N1 4x4 outside PTA sells a lot of Toy spares that the agents claim only they sell at 1\2 the price

I might be wrong with my reasoning, but as far as I know the lead in leaded petrol was used to smear your moving parts(valves),now they have taken away that protection with unleaded, but on the unleaded models they have hardened the sleeves and valves to compensate,my old model thus have the softer ...

Hi guys I have a '97 2.4 dc 4x4,I want to change to an electrical radiator fan, any suggestions on a suitable replacement and temperature rating for the temperature switch, would one of the newer model's fan and bracket fit on my golden oldie?
